The adventure begins with a convenient pickup from your hotel in Tirana, from where you’ll head towards the historic town of Krujë, located approximately 45 minutes away. Krujë is famed for its castle, which was a central figure in the 15th-century resistance against the Ottoman Empire, led by the national hero, Skanderbeg.
Upon arrival at Krujë, your first destination is the majestic Krujë Castle. Standing atop a hill overlooking the town, the castle grounds are home to the Skanderbeg Museum, which honors the life and battles of the Albanian hero. You’ll also have the chance to explore the Skenderbeg Museum, located within the castle, offering insights into traditional Albanian life.
Next, the tour takes you to the serene Sari Salltik Teqe, located near the castle.
